Egyptian Accreditation
Council welcomes visitors to its site. This site
contains the activities and services provided by our
Council to participate in Egyptian industrial
development and create trust in the efficiency of
Egyptian products as well as in the authorities which
present testing, inspection and checking services.
Beside the EAC issues certificates for participating in
the Egyptian industrial development.
What is EGAC
The Egyptian Accreditation Council is recognized by
Presidential Decree number 312/96 as the sole national
body for the assessment and accreditation of conformity
assessment bodies whose activities include testing,
calibration, inspection, and issuing certificates for
products, systems as well as the working personnel.
EGAC is a non-profit body affiliated to MTI headed by
the minister of Trade and industry. The Council is
governed by a board of 14 members, representing all
stakeholders and concerned bodies.
